Appeal

Prohibit NPD now!

Dear Members of the German Bundestag!

We are requesting you to instigate new prohibition proceedings against the NPD according to article 21, paragraph 2, Basic Constitutional Law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The reasons for prohibition asserted at that time by the Federal Government, the Bundestag and the Federal Council of Germany still persist.

With the NPD for more than 40 years a party is effective in the Federal Republic of Germany that stands in the tradition of the NSDAP. Its statements are racist, anti-Semitic, and xenophobic. It stands for a new »German Reich« and repudiates the democratic order of the Federal Republic of Germany.

For the enforcement of its political ideologies it not only propagates violence but also provides a political home to violent criminals and supports them. It is to a high degree responsible for a mental climate under which varied criminal offences thrive and prosper.

It takes advantage of the status of a political party in order to draw public monies from a democratic state, which it wants to abolish.

The Basic Constitutional Law of the Federal Republic of Germany is the counterdraft to the governance of terror by the Nazi Regime. Only against this background of fascism its provisions, particularly the ones under article 1 regarding the basic rights and the protection of democracy, are to be understood. Referring to the Potsdam Agreement of the Allied Control Council Laws and German statutory provisions it says under article 139 of the Basic Constitutional Law:

»The statutory provisions decreed for the German people's liberation from National Socialism and militarism are not affected by the provisions of this Basic Constitutional Law«

The NPD together with all its groupings, secondary and successor organizations must be prohibited and forcefully terminated!

We therefore request you: Instigate new proceedings!
